Night Light reference

I couldn't think of anything else but ok
She's usually only awake at night because of how reclusive she is, and she figures that most ponies are asleep at night anyway so she won't have to run into anyone, and she'll usually have a lantern or some kind of torch with her to Light up the Night so she can see where she's going.
Did i just explain something obvious or...?
